Mercedes gained his initial training at the Malenko's Wrestling School in Florida in 1993. Returned to Australia, performed on various local shows, including both the Wrestleriot tours from the USA, before heading back overseas. Appeared on WCW Worldwide. In 1997 Mercedes wrestled for CWA Germany, a 6 month tour where he maintained a grueling schedule and temed up with WWE's Rhyno. Following Europe, he again appeared on WCW, and wrestled Rick Martel on WCW Monday Nitro in front of 30,000 fans at the Georgia Dome. Also wrestled a long list of American and Japanese stars before returning to Australia to help start the IWA with Tyrone Townsend.Toured Japan in 2000. Also wrestled in Tahiti, New Zealand & New Caledonia, he is a former 8 time IWA Heavyweight Champion, 2 times Trans Tasman Champion and once held the IWA Tag Team belts (with Billy Cole) as the New Crew. Faced the Mexican wrester Masked Artifaz during HRCW tour of Sydney in 2001. Was main event versus Jason Helton at Foxtel's Australian Wrestling Supershow 2002. Also wrestled Rick Steiner on WWA 2003 pay per view

Rob Matrix trained with the IWA school class of 2000. He employs a very fast paced, strong technical style offense and has provided local fans with some thrilling matches in the last few years. Became IWA Heavyweight Champion in his first year of wrestling. Also won IWA Trans Tasman title in his rookie year. He went on to become 6 times IWA Trans Tasman and 5 times IWA Heavyweight Champion. Australia's fastest rising star. His overwhelming power and charisma is enough to intimidate any competition. Appeared on Foxtels Australian Wrestling Supershow 2002. Matrix also toured the USA independent circuit for 6 months, working for several independent promotions including a WWE tryout. Rob Matrix has already had a couple of very impressive tours overseas he is an impressive IWA superstar who has a tremendous career ahead of him.

Kasey Jackson made his debut in the IWA in 2004 along with his spunky, blonde, little valet Angeleeka. He beat Bud Caid to become IWA Trans Tasman Champion on his debut North Coast tour. He was defeated approximately 3 months later by Brad Phoenix at Forbes NSW. Kasey Jackson wrestles a sound match and is an extremely good showman. Italian born, huge STAR of the 70s when Aussie wrestling was hot. Returned to IWA in 1998 (Royal Easter Show Sydney) and presented the IWA Heavyweight belt to Rasta Voodoo Man in front of 4,500 IWA fans. Estimated 90% of Australian's aged over 30 have heard of him. Perhaps the most well known wrestler in Australia ever and his place in Australian wrestling history can not be denied. Still sometimes wrestles in Melbourne but rarely. These days Mario Milano is over 70 years old not quite able to finish young opponants with his famous abdominal stretch... or can he ?.

Stephan decided to discuss becoming an IWA tag team with manager Julian James so they met up one Friday night for a few drinks at the 'The Cock Penn' bar in Melbourne. A few hours later IWA had a new tag team 'The Arse Villains' were formed. Stephan Cool was the winner of the 20 man battle royal at Foxtels Australian Wrestling Supershow 2002. Stephan Cool became IWA Trans Tasman Champion at the Royal Melbourne Show in 2003. Currently employed as Mark Mercedes person trainer & stylist.

Has worked in the past with many promotions including Calgary Stampede, WWE and ECW. Jason Helton employs a methodical, technical style offense and has provided some thrilling matches against Angus McLoud, Billy Cole, Rob Matrix and Phil Picasso. Competed in main event versus Mark Mercedes at Foxtels Australian Wrestling Supershow 2002. In January 2003 Jason Helton won the IWA Heavyweight title at Lismore NSW but a short time later lost it back to Angus McLoud.

An exiting, charismatic wrestler. ZZ Hook hails from the beautiful Ceyshell Islands, off the coast of South Africa. He undertook basic pro wrestling training under the wing of (Hart school Graduate) Brian Cannon. Hook was part of an impressive IWA Canberra line up he debut in 1999. Hook has a well defined and very muscular physique, Hook is pumped up and ready to fight. He is the new age hero and a real fan favorite with more valets than any other wrestler . Valets such as, Eve, Lisa Littlemore, Missy Manson and Mistress Hook to name a few. ZZ Hook has been an IWA Tag Team Champion 6 times with a few different partners including Chief Livai and Andy Bumthorne in 2004. ZZ Hook was also 2 times IWA Trans Tasman Champion.
Amateur wrestling since the age of 15, Nixxon was the Pan Pacific amateur wrestling gold medalist 2001 - 2002 . She trained at the IWA school alongside men, she also competes against men in the IWA and she has one hell of a 'DDT'. Nixxon was recently the subject of a national news pictorial by the 'Good Weekend' magazine - In the age of equal rights this young IWA pro wrestler is attracting a lot of attention from media & fans alike. Kathryn is a 4 time IWA Womens Champion who has wrestled overseas with IWA in New Caledonia & Tahiti. Nixxon became the first IWA Womens Champion at Wagga Wagga NSW in 2003.

Scarecrow is a daredevil who has a great attitude. Popular when meeting his fans, kids love him.Debut in IWA January 2003 at Stockland Mall Merrylands where he won the IWA Heavyweight belt from Mark Mercedes but had the decision reversed by the referee. Also seen at Foxtel’s Australian Wrestling Supershow 2002. An Ultimate Wrestling Alliance Champion who combines hard hitting chops and kicks with hygh flying moves and some good technical wrestling holds. Has come a long way in a short period, excellent attitude, a dedicated and hardworking wrestler. His spinning DDT is one of the best things in Australian Wrestling. Returned to IWA for some exciting bouts at Nowra in 2004. Has his own merchandise on sale including the official Scarewear clothing range.
