SATURDAY FEBRUARY 21, 2026. DRINK WEST, PENRITH, NSW.

International Wrestling Australia collaborated with Drink West for a huge live pro-wrestling event this past weekend. IWA - BIFF IN THE RIFF was the first IWA event in Penrith in 9 years, and just like the last one, it was sold out. Thank you to all that purchased tickets and we are sorry to those we had to turn away.

You can still purchase tickets to upcoming events at iwawrestling.com.au/tickets

  1. The Bogan Hogan DAZZA returned to wrestling and quickly defeated PT Bull in Dazza's first singles match in a year. The boy from Dunedoo was in tremendous shape and showed no signs of ring rust.

  1. IWA Trans-Tasman Champion Cosmo Cooper defeated EC Brownie by disqualification. The monstrous Brownie stayed on his feet for much of the match, yet Cosmo resiliently fought to knock him down. He finally was able to pick him up for the Cosmosis (Fireman's Carry Slam). He wasn't able to take advantage and go for the cover as Brownie rolled out of the ring and while Cosmo was recovering, Brownie grabbed a chair from under the ring and clocked Cosmo with it, causing the disqualification and keeping the title with Cosmo. Brownie then went on a rampage, threatening multiple IWA officials and even powerbombing one of the IWA staffers while still punishing the champion. Brownie eventually left on his accord.

  1. IWA Heavyweight Champion Randal returned home to Western Sydney and was able to defeat the Anchorman Will Kiedis in a thrilling bout. Kiedis, coming off of Ring of Honor TV, was full of confidence during the bout - particularly since much of the audience favoured Kiedis due to him having grown up in the Penrith area. Randal won via pinfall with a Kamikaze Cutter and remains the champion.

  1. On his birthday, Ty Thayer lost to the returning Cowboy Chris Abbott, who was tremendously popular now residing in Penrith. Cowboy was back to his former self and despite a cheap shot by Thayer at the start, Abbott came back to pick up the big win in his return match. After the match, Abbott slammed Ty's face into his own birthday cake.

  1. The Food and Catering Commissioners Mana & Manoush had a tough time getting things going, but they were able to beat The Exception, Carter Deams and Ben Braxton. El Phoenician and Marley Peleti continue their hot streak in the West after bringing out ice-blocks for the hot crowd. Phoenician pinned Deams after a stellar performance by all four.

THANK YOU again to Drink West for hosting the event. We are excited to return to the Penrith area later in 2026.

International Wrestling Australia returns to Western Sydney on Saturday 9th May at Hudson Hotel, Seven Hills for IWA - REVERSE THE CURSE. Tickets will be on sale this week.
